Guitarist passionate about sound and electronics since my teenage years, I have always modified my guitars or those of my friends
to find an original or different sound. But the story of BadAss Tone really started when I was the owner of a Café-concert...

Every Wednesday night during the summer, with the help of a friend, we organized shows called 'Backyard Session'... The café had two terraces and a beautiful garden in the back... the perfect little paradise for this kind of events in the heart of downtown Montreal.

Sometimes, some musicians had equipment problems... I would help them and that's when I thought... Hey! my hobby could become
a nice and friendly business.
 

Meet guitarists and share a common passion, while repairing their guitars, why not? or simply sell them spare parts... so that just like me they can experiment and discover this famous sound that many guitarists are looking for...
 

Here is the story of BadAss Tone : it's more about sharing a passion than a business... This passion for the guitar, electronics and sound has been with me for over 40 years, I'm not far from being a vintage, just like the vintage caps I sell...
